I do have the slower ticking noise when TB I6 is just started which I hear is normal and goes away once the engine is warm.Purchased a 2012 5.3L 1500 LTZ and ever since day one I notice a sparking/clicking noise when I accelerate. If I hit the gas in park it does not make the sound at all. The sound seems to vary not with vehicle speed but with how hard I am hitting the accelerator. (IE.
